wow yah kahan se dhoondh laaye haiN aap?
sach bataaooN to mujhe yah image bilkul passand nahiN aayi (now that i am looking at it after a while)
i try to make my images a certain size ta ke window meN scroll na karna parhe aur image fit aa jaaye plus uss ka size bhi itna barha na ho ke logoN ko load karne meN masla ho..
now talking about the nazm, it has always been my favorite. actually mujhe saher ka sab hi kalaam buhat passand hai. woh kuchh bhi likheN, itne saada lahje meN likhte the ke mujh jaisi kam feham ko bhi samajh aa jaata tha.

yeh kya, abhi to aur kuchh tumhaare shaah~kaar haiN mere paas
tum agar is ko phir se tashdeel dena chaho to maiN vohi is ki jaga laga dooN ga.
mujhe khud Sahir ka kalaam behad pasand hai. sach hamesha khara aur laag lapet se paak hota hai. isi liye Sahir ka kalaam seedha dil meiN utar jaata hai.

vaise ye image to mere paas bhi paRii hai
maiN ne sochaa thaa ise sahir ki site par post kar douNga.. but then i decided against putting any images there and keeping it strictly roman (apart from the couple i had already posted).
Nadia, my two cents, the image is beautiful, the text is clear and crisp on it… the background is well made and transformed artisticaly. And the nazm is just amazing! I guess for me Sahir is the real magician of words. I don’t think I have ever read anything written by him that I haven’t liked.
Shoaib sahib, u decided to say “ludhiyanvi” and not “ludhianvi” I wonder what is the correct transliteration…

I agree. I have alwasy liked I ever read by Sahir. He is such a magician with words and emotions.
As for the transliteration, I think both are fine but personally I think ‘y’ in ludhiyanvi conveys the sound of ‘yeh’ more prominently.

pata nahin kyuN maiN jab bhi saher ki shayeri parhti hooN sad ho jaati hooN..unka buhat hi romaanvi kalaam bhi aik udaasi si kaifiyat bhar deta hai dil meN..
